It is 6 6 6 day...well some people might pronounce it as six six oh six. I clearly can never understand why people will substitute the sound of the letter oh for the sound of the number zero. Are people so lazy as to not want to say zero. I cringe when people give out their phone number and say something like eight six seven five three oh nine. Do not worry though, I will not forget the number zero. I will preserve your existence.

Well this computer hardly lets me do anything. Geez...anyhow, i am at work at the Wood Computer Lab. I am a little exhausted. Why? Tonight is Spread the Word. I may go to it tonight, but I might not. Actually, if I do go to it, then it will be during the 7pm hour. Nicely done says I. Nicely done.

Introduction to ImageReady

altmusictv: alternative music television guide
This is a site dedicated to showcasing the alternative music video prgrams that air on television. I remember staying up late on Sunday night to watch 120 Minutes and every weekday night to watch Alternative Nation. Gosh, I miss those programs. At least Subterranean is on M2 (eventhough I do not get that station)...I mean MTV2. It makes me think about other the demise of both Thunder 94 (a former radio station that was heard on 94.1 FM in the Nashville area) and TechTV.

Nashville Web Design + Horton Group
It is so close to being 2pm...just a few more seconds (well actually when this is posted, it would have already been 2pm and there will be many times that someone will read this at exactly 2pm (go ahead and check your timing device). It is cool that Nashville has a web design group. I will look into seeing if they accept interns and what I would need to do to get on board. I can see it now, I will be taking the 96 Murfreesboro/Nashville bus into town every weekday. I will be so professional that it would hurt my skin...just kidding. Anyhow, that will be all for now.

Find Music You'll Love - Pandora
IT really sucks that I have to continue going to the computer labs to check my email and to update my journals. It does not bother me to use the computers here...i just wish that i was not obligated to doing so and i have to rush and it is a mess having to walk here all of the time. Oh well...I learned a new term today. rest on one's laurels means "To rely on one's past achievements instead of working to maintain or advance one's status or reputation." I saw this term used in a review of Tori Amos' The Beekeeper. Anyhow I must go now.

Computer Arts - Bring 2D Images to Life
This computer lab is not so good. There are five computers. On four of them, there are no active mixer devices available. No one has permission to install them. Then this one that I am using has audio, but it will play though. It is very infuriating. I am going home and sleep. This day just feels like a total waste.

ARCHITECTURE IN HELSINKI
This is a band that pamike told me about just days ago. They remind me of Bis. I like the songs that I have heard from them.
