This is a show that I need to ch...check out in the spring semester. Here is a description about it: "Brian is the guy everyone wants as a best friend. He's the guy who'll stand by you at your wedding, drive you to the hospital, cheer your kids on at their little league game... the guy who every wife dotes on and every husband wants to either grab a beer with or live vicariously through him. But as all of his friends pair off and Brian emerges as the last bachelor standing, questions begin to arise in his head: Is there such a thing as Miss Right? Why does love have to be so complicated? What is his problem with commitment? And the most pressing question of all, could all of his problems stem from the fact that he is harboring a crush on his best friend's girl?" Perhaps it will be the one show that gets me back into watching current shows that are not animated..

With the discovery of this new planet, some people are now debating Pluto. Is is considered a planet? So here is a page that goes in depth into it. What is also interesting is that because of its highly elliptical orbit, Pluto becomes the 08th planet from the sun. Every 248 years the two planets swap places and for about 20 years Pluto becomes the eighth planet and Neptune the ninth. What do I think about the subject? Pluto's planet (Charon I believe) is about the same size as Pluto itself. So perhaps at some point, the two planets were one planet that split apart. Just a thought. I should read more about this.

BRR is a community initiative that is being sponsored by Carnegie Mellon West Center for Open Source Investigation, O'Reilly CodeZoo, SpikeSource and Intel. Phase one is a public comment period. Joel on Software - Biculturalism
What are the cultural differences between Unix and Windows programmers? There are many details and subtleties, but for the most part it comes down to one thing: Unix culture values code which is useful to other programmers, while Windows culture values code which is useful to non-programmers. This is, of course, a major simplification, but really, that's the big difference: are we programming for programmers or end users? Everything else is commentary. This is an interesting topic to discuss. In a lot of my computer classes, I hear my peers complain about writing out HTML code and how they prefer the quick and easy way of Dreamweaver. I, on the other hand, would rather type out the code then have some computer program do the work for me, but that is just me though.

What a day it's been and it's well after midnight. I have so much to do and all I ask for is a good night's rest. That's all, but oh well. I suppose it doesn't work like that. I did have a decent day though. Ben called me this morning to tell me that he was too tired to meet for lunch. He had stayed up all night with me in the computer lab because he was locked out of his apartment. I slept a little longer and I woke up in time to dash to my Advanced Digital Animation class. On the way, I stopped by this office that where I would sign up for the Etiquete Dinner, and it turns out that the email I had received had the wrong date. I would miss my Drawing 02 class and I just can't have that. In my animation class, I worked vigoriously on my project. I want it to be well. After class, I joined the fellow guys of the radio show Spread the Word. I took photos as always. Then I had to go to my apartment to get my sketchpad for my drawing class. In Drawing 02, we had to draw a nude figure and off course it would make perfect sense that I knew the person. It didn't bother me though, so that's cool. My last drawing of her was the best one. I think it's because I took my time on it. I want perfection. I can't help it.

The Breeders - Video
I have to go to this age on 01. Februar because whenever I try to access the videos on this page, I get a message that reads, "This site has reached is maximum bandwidth for this month. Please try to download this file again in 18 days." so I'll do that once things clear up. Then I will be able to watch the videos for "Divine Hammer" and "Saints" as I really loved the video versions of the songs. I wish I could get my hands on the single for "Divine Hammer." I have the "Cannonball" single (which I adore). Awe...I love looking back at music.

ScienceWorld
This web page has lots of information in the realm of science and mathematics. I love me some of that. I find it to be interesting with the mesh of words, numbers, and symbols all haunting the mind on a quest to liberate mankind from the rituals of day to day life. It seems that way to me. Frankly, I don't give a damn if you don't agree. The fact that our disagreeance seems to spark some sort of conversation is enough to make me smile.

Metaphilm
This site is so cool for people like myself who love getting to the deeper meaning of film. I can say that I am somewhat of a film snob. I like to watch films that go beyond just mere entertainment. Now...there are some exceptions and even in those cases, there tends to be an underlining scheme of thought going on. You just have to look closer.

I'm in the midst (midst seems to be one of my favorite words these days)...anyhow I'm in the midst of my room listening to some music and it's raining outside. I need to get ready for work. I don't know what I will wear, but it will be fly.

THE MAN WHO WASN'T THERE and 2001: A SPACE ODYSSEY
Well this will be the last link for now. I should probably wait until I see 2001: A Space Odyseey before reading this article and I should probably wait until I read the book before I watch the movie. I want to start reading the books before watching the movies. It will be such a thrill to see the 04th Harry Potter book before seeing it this fall and this time not haven seen any bits of scenary of the movie. With the third movie, I had seen the trailers before reading the third book. So...anyhow I'll wait to see the movie 2001: A Space Odyseey before reading this article.

Metaphilm - The Man Who Wasn't There
I have to eat soon. Anyhow, I'm putting this link here so that I can read this article later. It does bring up how this movie and Albert Camus's book The Stranger are similar. I absoutely loved the book. I love how he spent much of the day on Sunday just looking out and onto the street from his balconey. It reminds me of the times I spent looking out from the balconey at the apartment of otherMike.

MayoClinic.com - Medical and health information and tools from Mayo Clinic
I am so hungry now...I'm here at work until 4pm. Then I have to go to Video Culture to drop a movie off. I just finished watching The Man Who Wasn't There and it's such a good movie. I absolutely loved it. It does have some of the themes of The Stranger (written by Albert Camus). Anyhow, when I get home, I'm going to eat. I don't know what...but I will eat. That I am sure of.

Sahara Hotnights
I'm glad that female bands or female fronted bands are making a comeback. You have The Donnas (an all girl band) and Evanescence (a female fronted band) and now you have this band. An all girl band ready to rock-n-roll. My friend Mike told me about this group. He's in love with the band. Anyhow check this band out. I'm guessing that you'll love them. Want to prove me wrong? So here I am with the new page of sorts...wait, I'm speaking ahead of myself. It's not here yet...anyhow I am in a good mood, though tired...so I had some cherry coke (if you exchange the first "r" with an "e" you get cheery). :p anyhow, I'm just sitting here at work at the Womack Lane computer lab. I am really proud of the fact that I've been getting to work on time and such. I don't need to come in on Thursday night. Someone else is working for me. A girl came in yesterday afternoon and she wanted to pick up some extra hours. So I told her that she can work my 10pm to midnight shift. The 12 to 4pm shifts are mine...hehehehe...anyhow, I'm thinking positive thoughts for this year. I think it will be good. I have my head on correct and everything is all groovy..don't you think?-Fefe Dobson "Everything"
